I was a little nervous for the actual removal of said cast, since Portia is so little and has been a bit frightened during these doctor's visits. Did you know that to get a cast off, they break out a saw? Yeah, an actual saw. The kind that could take your whole arm off. It's a little terrifying. After they got the cast off, they had to take more X-rays, and pregnant mommy can't be in the room for that of course. But Portia was brave and didn't cry! I was so proud of her!
She is all healed and good as new! And now we can get back to our normal lives of swimming and taking long bubble baths full of toys!
