A Conversation

We had breakfast for dinner tonight. I made pancakes, bacon, and omeletes. While eating, this is a conversation I had with Portia.

Portia: Mom, Margot is sick.
Me: No, She's ok.
Portia: Do you know what sick looks like? It looks like cheese. It looks like cheese.
Me: ....cheese?
Portia: It makes it really, really stinky in here.
Me: What?
Portia: Daddy is stinky. Margot is stinky. But I'm not stinky. Mom, you're not stinky.
Me: ...ok?
Portia: Mom, you and me are not stinky, but Daddy and Margot are stinky. (she paused for a moment) Mom, these pancakes are gross.

things I'm lovin today

1. The pajamas my mommy got me for Christmas. They are the comfy and warm and cute, and long enough!!

2. These babies reading books together.

3. Smoked Gouda cheese. Enough said.

4. The awesome nap these babies let me take. I needed it!
